VALUE TO COMPANIES

InSITE provides early stage companies with consulting services to help them raise seed or Series A financing. Entrepreneurs benefit from five 2.5 hour sessions with a team of four to six InSITE fellows. Part way through the semester, the InSITE team meets with one of several prominent New York VC's for one hour to discuss the project in depth and receive candid feedback. At the end of the five sessions, entrepreneurs participate in a pitch event attended by a large number of angel and venture capital investors.

All InSITE fellows are selected from the "best and brightest" at Columbia Business School, Columbia Law School, NYU Stern School of Business, and NYU Law School, and all engagement teams will have a healthy mix of backgrounds and experience.

In addition, all of InSITE’s services to companies are completely free of charge. We receive neither cash nor equity for services rendered.

Events and Networking
InSITE provides participating companies numerous additional benefits over and above our mentoring services. The following events are designed to bring specific added value to the participating companies, through both additional networking opportunities and learning opportunities.

Pitch Event
InSITE's pitch event is the culminating event of the program. Companies are given the opportunity to present their businesses to the Venture Capital community, having completed their three month mentoring and development programs with their team of assigned fellows. The pitch event is the highest profile of InSITE's events and takes place once at the end of each semester. The event also serves as a significant networking opportunity for participating companies, where their businesses will be the key topics of conversation.

Speaker Events
InSITE's speaker events allow the companies to not only sit through educational key note speeches delivered by prominent Venture Capitalists or Entrepreneurs in the New York business community, but also gives companies an opportunity to network with the invited guests, which will include numerous young Venture Capitalist. The events serve as an excellent platform for companies to develop relationship that could develop into future business or investment opportunities.
